Role Overview
Develop 3D models and engineering designs for automotive and industrial products.
Create and modify components using SolidWorks , rhinoceros and CATIA.
Perform reverse engineering and design development using scanned 3D data.
Process and work with 3D scan data using Geomagic Design X.
Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and design documentation.
Support prototype development, product testing, and design modifications.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to develop manufacturable products.
Assist in improving existing products and developing new automotive accessories.
Required Skills
Good working knowledge of SolidWorks or any related softwares.
Knowledge of CATIA.
Basic to good knowledge of Geomagic Design X.
Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
Ability to understand engineering drawings and GD&T.
Good 3D modelling and product development skills.
Strong interest in automotive product design and reverse engineering.
Added Advantage
Experience with 3D scanning and reverse engineering.
Experience with automotive components or accessories.
Knowledge of STL, point cloud and mesh data processing.
Experience with CNC, fabrication, prototyping, or injection-moulded components.
Educational Qualification
Candidates with any of the following qualifications are preferred:
B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
B.E./B.Tech – Automobile/Automotive Engineering
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
NTTF / equivalent technical qualification
Experience
1–5 years of relevant experience.
Fresh/entry-level candidates with strong CAD skills may also be considered.
Work Arrangement
Permanent position
Remote and on-site opportunities available
Candidates must be comfortable working with an engineering/product development team and meeting project deadlines.
Compensation
INR 50,000 – 70,000 per month, depending on experience, technical skills, and interview performance.
Preferred Candidate
